With nothing better to do, I’ll comment on some bands I’ve discovered while browsing the library’s collection. Some reviews aren’t complete, but that’s mostly because I’m lazy.
These reviews will follow the following format:
Band Name – Album Name
The Good
Song Name (Length) – Nice Lyrics
The Bad
Song Name (Length)
I personally listen to music for the lyrics, which is why good lyrics recieve special mention. Also, note that “The Bad” does not necessarily indicate that the songs are bad. They’re just not as good as the other songs in the album.

After school ended, I was looking forward to a nice, relaxing summer of ice cream and skateboarding.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to happen.
Before I could come to terms with what had happened, I had been whisked off to Yosemite.

The scene was terrifying.
People.
Tired, stricken, beaten halfway to hell’s gate. With a look on their faces that reminded me of someone who had been crying for weeks over the death of a beloved sibling. They looked ten years older than I remembered them. Their posture like a wounded tiger trying to stand, defending its newborn children to the end. Hands red and overused, eyes defeated in battle. Pencils clatter on the floor.
And all around, carnage.

I finally figured out that my “there is no point in becoming the ultimate intelligent beings ever” mindset is called nihilism.
Let us dissect this word.
The -ism ending means belief in. Like alienism. Or magicism. Or maybe even (gasp) something so horrifying it was given its own name and labeled a severe type of psychosis, WMDism.
I think I know which one George W. Bush had.
Nihil- is a root found in words relating to destruction. Such as annihilate, which means to utterly destroy someone in Halo 3 using only one finger and with eyes closed.
So, nihilism means the belief in the possibility of totally destroying someone in Halo 3.
This probably explains why I play so many computer games, as well.

As in, just because futilecry’s comment begged for it it has come to my attention that people are accusing me of braggartry.
People hate me. I have explained this previously.
However, they hate me because I tend to brag.
I would like to offer my very telling perspective on this, the defendant to the prosecution.

my birthday was yesterday
No, finals are not over. Not quite yet.
Actually, it really depends how you define “finals.”
If you define them as “challenging tests that determine a student’s knowledge of the semester curriculum,” then yes I am done.
If you define them as “tests that determine a student’s knowledge of the semester curriculum,” then the world no longer makes sense. It is not possible to know 178.992% of the curriculum, is it? No, it’s not. But that’s more or less what I earned on the Physics final in 1st semester. See, something MUST be wrong if an idiot like me can earn a grade like that without paying attention in what has been called “the hardest freshman class.”
